Winners were grinners at the recent Vegas-themed Laing+Simmons Annual Awards as the network celebrated its best performers on a night of glitz and glamour.

Held at the W Sydney at Darling Harbour, the event paid special tribute to some of the longest-serving and successful people in the network, including Nick Efrossynis of Laing+Simmons Kingsford who this year marks 40 years with Laing+Simmons.

Reaching the 30-year milestone this year were Tass Evgeniou of Laing+Simmons Cabramatta, D’Leanne Lewis of Laing+Simmons Double Bay, Ray Fayad of Laing+Simmons Parramatta Group, Kevin Mendes of Laing+Simmons Potts Point, Alan Fowler of Laing+Simmons Wentworthville, and CEO Leanne Pilkington.

Winners of the Principal of the Year Award were Basel and Jack Nahas of Laing+Simmons Mount Druitt, while the coveted Office of the Year Award went to Laing+Simmons The Abassi Group.

The Abassi Group enjoyed a big night – and a big year – as the team also took out the Best Business Growth and Highest Number of Transactions Awards, with Aman Puri named Top Income Producer (Non-Principal).

Once again, it was a busy year for Top Income Producer D’Leanne Lewis as the Laing+Simmons Double Bay office also took home the Top Income Producing Office Award.

The Community Achievement Award went to Laing+Simmons Quakers Hill | Schofields for their work with Carevan, feeding the homeless and serving as a vital collection point locally.

Finally, the major highlight of the night was the Doug Laing Memorial Award, this year won by Andrew Ienna of Laing+Simmons Blacktown.

“In a challenging market, Laing+Simmons teams across the state once again demonstrated what’s possible by prioritising their training and development to deliver the best possible outcomes for their customers, creating strong and resilient businesses in the process,” CEO Leanne Pilkington says.

“It’s always a privilege to acknowledge the efforts of our people at the Annual Awards and take the opportunity to honour those who make our network the thriving, supportive, people-first environment it is, which we value so much as a group. Congratulations and thank you to all our award winners.”
