Laing+Simmons agents Springboard into action
It’s the first major event on the Laing+Simmons and Dexar Group calendar each year designed to catapult agents to new levels of success and this time every seat was filled – a crowd of over 250 people – when the Springboard event was held this month at Doltone House in Sydney.
Exclusively free to Laing+Simmons office principals and their teams, as well as team members from Laing+Simmons’parent company Dexar Group, Springboard is the company’s annual “planning day on steroids”.
It is designed to encourage and empower team members, providing an opportunity for everyone in the network to hear direct from leading industry speakers and understand how they achieve success in their businesses.
Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd at Springboard earlier this month were some of Australia’s leading real estate figures, who shared their insights and experiences on the changing market and gave their two cents on the emerging trends to watch for in 2019.
There was a particular focus on helping principals and their teams define their own unique ‘why’ – why their agency matters to their community – which in turn flowed to investigating additional concepts such as how the team defines itself at its best, the difference they make as a team, and what attracts talent to their business.
There was also discussion around how to capitalise on the optimism of a new year amid the price decline pessimism that rounded out 2018.
And crucially, the focus remained on the agents and their teams: how a changing market affects them, and how they can not only survive but thrive in the current landscape.
