Glebe real estate icon joins the family

Nicholas Katsikaros has been at the forefront of the inner west and Glebe real estate markets for over 40 years, serving locals from Glebe Point Road for the last 30, and becoming a fixture in the community. This year, Mr Katsikaros and his team have taken a fresh approach by joining the Laing+Simmons family.

Expansion is on the agenda for Laing+Simons Glebe. Mr Katsikaros is working with the Laing+Simmons head office team to develop a comprehensive workforce planning and recruitment strategy, and the office is actively seek talented sales people with local market experience to complement its existing team.

Laing+Simmons Glebe will also focus on growing its rent roll in the short term, with its large and well-resourced team of property managers seeking to work with landlords to deliver a more personal brand of service drawing on local market experience.

“We see property management as a key growth area in 2019 as investors focus on maximising returns and protecting their investment against the backdrop of a subdued economy. We specialise in fostering great relationships with quality tenants to give our landlords peace of mind, which is crucial in times like these,” Mr Katsikaros says.
