This week, we have plenty of news. We had 150 new and modified DA’s in New South Wales, and we have just listed 1 Stansell Street in Gladesville, a DA-approved site which is due to go to auction in July.

This week, a couple of really interesting things. 150 new and modified DA’s, the 10-30 townhouse / apartments size, very well represented. Sydney basin and country about equal and especially the New England area.

We’ve got a fabulous operator in our Armidale office and we are going to market with some raw and some DA-approved opportunity up there, which will be very exciting.

Quite a few DA-approved sites for sale in the marketplace in the last week.

We’ve put a lapsed DA-approved site in Gladesville at 1 Stansell Street, which will be going to auction at the end of July. Have a look at our website: for information on that. It’s a B4 zoning, it is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants a 20-24 apartment development. It’s ideal for that.

And last but not least, there is quite a bit of new off-plan inquiry, which has popped up because again, we were around 70% clearance rates on Saturday, so there is quite a bit of strength in the marketplace and when there’s strength in established home sales, there’s always off-the-plan to follow.

So with 150 new and modified DA’s and with new enquiry coming through for off-plan, again, we’re expecting that from within the market of Sydney and New South Wales and potentially other states of Australia there is a desire for people to re-look at off plan.
