Hey everyone, Leanne Pilkington here coming to you live from the Gold Coast where I’m at the AREC Conference which has been awesome so far. Real Estate Wrap week commencing May 31, last day of May, can you even believe it?

This weekend, in Sydney 1,177 properties went to auction with a preliminary clearance rate of 81%.

Last week 1,103 properties, final clearance rate of 76.9%. So, clearance rates are down a little bit but still a very strong market.

Same time last year only 452 properties.

Melbourne, oh gosh! Our poor friends in Melbourne. 1,264 properties went to auction despite the lockdown.

72.8% preliminary clearance rate but it was about 200 properties less than what was planned to go to auction this weekend.

North Sydney and Hornsby were our highest clearance rate at 92% preliminary clearance rate according to CoreLogic and Blacktown our lowest at 63.3%.

Hope you have an awesome week. See you soon, bye!
