Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie Stays On Top Thanks To An Uncompromising Approach That Always Puts The Customer First
Before the Laing+Simmons Annual Awards held in Sydney last month, Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie was already the most awarded office in the history of the Laing+Simmons network.
Now following the awards night, the local team has further cemented its place at the top. Although Principal Chris Koch says “awards aren’t really what we’re all about, but when our industry’s leaders and peers see the number of happy customers we’ve worked with and awards us the Top Gong in four major categories, we feel pretty chuffed”.
Chris says that Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie continues to go from strength to strength because of one clear and perhaps obvious reason; an uncompromising approach that always puts the customer first.
“Of all the honours our team received, the one we are most proud of is the Gold Award for Outstanding Customer Service. We’ve won this award now for six years in a row, and achieving this depends on every single member of our team committing to making the customer the top priority. This is what separates us from others in the marketplace,” Chris says. Confirming the best way to lead is by example, Chris himself was awarded Gold for Outstanding Customer Service as an individual.
The team won Gold for the Highest Number of Transactions in the Laing+Simmons group, incredibly having held the top spot for this particular award for eighteen of the last nineteen years, while Chris Koch, Damian King and Rohan Lisle were all recognised in the Top Ten agents across the network. Sam Barlow was named Runner-Up Rookie Of The Year, a particularly outstanding achievement after less than twelve months in the competitive real estate industry. Georgina Lentz was accorded the Bronze Award for Outstanding Sales Assistant.
Also on the night, Kelly Koch was honoured with Gold for Excellence in Marketing, and Silver for Excellence in Digital Marketing, with Louise Doig the recipient of Silver for Outstanding Office Manager, and in recognition of their commitment to the local area with sponsorship of many local charities, community groups and sporting associations, Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie was presented the Bronze Award for Community Achievement. Additionally the property management division made it into the ranks of the high achievers, being awarded Silver for Excellence in Property Management.
In all, Laing+Simmons Port Macquarie returned from the annual awards in Sydney with nothing less than twenty two awards. “We are truly humbled to have been recognised in so many categories, with the efforts of our support staff right through to our salespeople acknowledged on the night,” Chris says. “It really is testimony to everyone’s commitment to our ‘customer first’ mantra.”
“In addition to our refusal to compromise on service, we have been a major player in the Port Macquarie real estate industry for many years because we know the area, we know the people and we know how to get results. We also have that local experience and understanding required to recognise and adapt to what’s happening in the market at any given time,” Chris says. “This puts us in an excellent position to continue to deliver great outcomes for our clients.”
