Springboard 2020 – Consistency is Key

Laing+Simmons agents from across the state descended on the stunning Waterview conference centre in Bicentennial Park at Homebush this week for the first major event on the Laing+Simmons calendar for the year: Springboard 2020.

There were no empty seats. Over 230 people attended Springboard 2020 – the annual Laing+Simmons “planning day on steroids” – which is provided exclusively free to Laing+Simmons office principals and their teams, as well as team members from Laing+Simmons’ parent company Dexar Group.

Springboard 2020 featured a host of high-profile speakers who left their mark on everyone who came.

Guest speakers included Andrew Lutze, Director and Chief Auctioneer at Cunninghams, and the country’s top agent, Alexander Phillips of Phillips Pantzer Donnelly.

Also presenting were Mario Sanfrancesco of Peter Blackshaw Real Estate, Stuart Benson of Benson Auctions, Lisa Novak of The Novak Agency, and Jonathan Creek, creator of the Virable Formula.

One of the recurring themes to come out of the event was the need, particularly in this market, for consistency.

“Springboard is always well-received by members of the Laing+Simmons family and this year we all left with an extra spring in our step. It is always enlightening and motivating to hear from proven performers, understanding what makes them tick, and being able to gain an insight to their secrets to success,” said Laing+Simmons Network Growth Manager Travis Wentriro.

“This year will be one of challenges and opportunities in real estate, so the key message of consistency was especially appropriate.

“Our guests spoke about the need for agents to be consistent, day in day out, through all the major and minor tasks that deliver a successful result to their customers.”

There was also discussion on the evolving social and digital media landscape, and how agents can navigate these changing waters. There was a focus on how agents can make the most of the channels available to them, and to ensure they are using these channels effectively.

“Springboard provides a powerful competitive advantage to members of our team as they embark on a new year in real estate. Each year it gets bigger and better, and it’s become one of the most anticipated events on the Laing+Simmons calendar,” Mr Wentriro said.
