Local agent named one of Australia’s best
A Double Bay agent has been named one of Australia’s leading real estate agents in a national ranking of the best performing female agents.
D’Leanne Lewis of Laing+Simmons Double Bay secured a position in the Real Estate Business (REB) Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2019 ranking.
The list ranks women real estate sales agents across Australia according to a range of 2018 calendar year metrics, including the number of sales, total sales volume and average sales price.
Now in its fourth year, the REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate ranking is an initiative of Real Estate Business, the real estate authority in Australia, produced by award-winning media business Momentum Media.
“The ranking celebrates the industry’s leading women and recognises their contribution to the elite performance standards the industry demands of its top achievers,” said Tim Neary, editor for REB.
“Set against a series of serious challenges, this year’s REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate represent a high-performance group of agents who set an incredible standard; one that is difficult to keep pace with now, let alone pass in the years ahead.”
The data collected for the ranking is verified by a senior member of each sales agent’s network, or their accountant where they are independent operators.
The average years of experience of the top 50 women agents in 2019 is 15, down from 16 years in 2018. The average days on market for their properties is 47 days (34 days). They averaged 70 property sales for the year (80), with an average sales price of $1.3 million, the same as a year ago.
