TRANSCRIPT:
Hey, everyone coming to you from the comfort of my car today, on the road all day today, for the Real Estate Wrap week commencing 27th of November.
And I loved Tom Panos’ message on the weekend, “Christmas is on the 25th of December, not the 25th of November”.
There are a lot of you who are really still working hard to get organised for next year.
And I know a lot of agents are telling me that they’ve got a great start for January. So if you’re not one of them, better make the most of the next few weeks.
So auction results this weekend, 1,154 properties, so better than last week, went up with a preliminary clearance rate of 68.7%, which is an exact same preliminary clearance rate that we saw last weekend.
So last weekend, 1,063 properties for a final clearance rate of 63.9%.
Same weekend last year, 929 properties at 58.6% final clearance rate.
So numbers are a little stronger than last year still.
Newcastle, 46 properties at 61.5%.
Illawarra, 14 properties at 63.6%.
Central Coast, we had 31 properties at only 40% clearance.
And the Mountains, we had 16 properties at only 36.4% clearance.
So our highest clearance rate was 90.9% in the Outer Southwest.
The lowest was 57.6% in the Hills and the Hawkesbury.
Hope you have an incredible week and I will see you next week. Bye.
