Hi everyone, Leanne Pilkington here for the Real Estate Wrap, week commencing the 10th of June.

Obviously, we have had an interest rate cut since we last caught up and a long weekend. Let me tell you, that long weekend did have an impact on auction numbers.

Down to only 310 with a preliminary clearance rate of 62.8 per cent. So yeah, numbers are down. Hopefully we’ll see an increase in that next week.

First home buyers are having a better time in the market. We are seeing more of them around, but affordability is still an issue.

You might notice my location is a little bit different than normal. I’m on the Laing+Simmons trip away to Bali, staying at the beautiful W in Seminyak.

Enjoy your week, you know the routine. Click here for more information on what’s going on in real estate this week. See you soon. Bye.
